Data is also automatically collected when you visit our website. This mainly concerns technical information – the browser used, operating system, etc. Further information can be found in the “Cookies” section below.

What is your data used for?

While some of the data is required for the technically error-free provision of our website, other data – depending on the degree of your consent – will be used to analyse your user behaviour. All of this is designed to provide you with the best possible user experience.

Privacy policy

1. Data collection

Server log files

You naturally can visit our websites without giving any personal information.

Every time you access our website, user data is transmitted to us or our web host / IT service provider through your Internet browser and stored in log data (so-called server log files). This stored data includes e.g. the name of the page accessed, the date and time of calling up the page, the IP address, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider. The processing is based on Article 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO for legitimate interest in ensuring trouble-free operation of our website and for improving our offer.

Collection and processing using contact or registration forms

When using the contact or registration form, we collect your personal data (name, e-mail address, message text) only in the scope provided by you. The data processing serves the purpose of establishing contact. By submitting your message, you consent to the processing of the transmitted data. Processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO with your consent.

You may revoke your consent at any time by notifying us without affecting the legality of the processing on the basis of the consent to revocation. We only use your e-mail address to process your request. Your data will then be deleted, unless you have consented to the further processing and use.

Double opt-in procedure

The subscription to our newsletter generally takes place using a double opt-in procedure. Therefore, after subscribing, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. This confirmation is for your protection and is necessary to prevent someone else from subscribing with your email address. Subscriptions to the newsletter are logged in order to provide evidence of the subscription process in accordance with the legal requirements. This includes the saving of the time of subscription and confirmation as well as the IP address. The changes to your data stored with the shipping service provider will also be logged.

Use of Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; „Google“). Data processing is for the purpose of analyzing this website and its visitors. For this purpose, Google will use the information obtained on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Google Analytics uses cookies that allow you to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. IP anonymisation is activated on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. Your data may be transmitted to the United States. There is an adequacy decision by the European Commission for data transfers to the US. Processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest in the needs-based and targeted design of the website. You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you, based on Article 6 (1) f DSGVO.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting appropriate technical settings of your browser software; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use all the features of this website to the fullest extent possible. You may further prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link [https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en]. To prevent Google Analytics tracking across devices, you can set an opt-out cookie. Opt-out cookies prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website. You must opt-out on all systems and devices used to make it work. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set: Disable Google Analytics.

2. Advertising measures

Using the Remarketing or “Like Audiences” feature of Google Inc.

We use the Remarketing or “Like Audiences” feature of Google Inc. on our website (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; „Google“). This feature is for the purpose of analyzing visitor behavior and visitor interests. Google uses cookies to carry out the analysis of the website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements. The cookies are used to record site visits and anonymous data on the use of the website. There is no storage of personal data of visitors to the website. If you visit another website on the Google Display Network, you will see ads that are likely to include previously viewed product and information areas.

If necessary, your data will also be transmitted to the USA. There is an adequacy decision by the European Commission for data transfers to the US.

Processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO of legitimate interest in targeting visitors to the Website through advertising by showing personalized, interest-based advertising ads to visitors to the Provider’s website when visiting other websites on the Google Display Network. Your anonymity is therefore preserved in all cases.

You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you, based on Article 6 (1) f DSGVO.

You can permanently deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=en

For more information about Google Remarketing and its privacy policy, visit: https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Using Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We use the online advertising program “Google AdWords” on our website and, in this context, conversion tracking (visit evaluation). Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; „Google“). When you click on an ad served by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your machine. These cookies have a limited validity, contain no personal data and are therefore not for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through the websites of advertisers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, we do not receive any information that personally identifies users. Processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest in targeted advertising and the analysis of the impact and efficiency of this advertising.

You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you, based on Article 6 (1) f DSGVO.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting appropriate technical settings of your browser software. We point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website in full. You will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

You can also opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can find instructions on how to do this at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=en In addition, you can disable the use of third-party cookies by turning off the Network Advertising Initiative’s opt-out page at https://www.google.com/ads/answer/2662922 : https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implement the further information about the opt-out mentioned there.

Using Google AdSense

We use the AdSense feature of Google Inc. on our website (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; „Google“). This function is for the purpose of renting advertising spaces on the website and targeting visitors to the website purposefully with interest-based advertising.

This feature will serve visitors to the provider’s website with personalized, interest-based advertising ads from the Google Display Network. Google uses cookies that allow you to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may transfer this information to third parties if required by law or as far as third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will never associate your IP address with other Google data.

Processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO from the legitimate interest in the above purpose.

You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you, based on Article 6 (1) f DSGVO.

You can permanently deactivate the use of cookies by Google by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996?hl=en.

You may also disable the use of third party cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative deactivation page at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the opt-out information listed there. Use of Bing Ads Conversion Tracking and Remarketing

– Bing Ads Conversion Tracking

We use the “Bing Ads Conversion Tracking” application from Microsoft Corporation (“Microsoft”) to measure the reach of ads. This determines how successful our individual advertising measures are on Bing and Yahoo. In this way, we want to develop and display advertisements that are of great interest to you and make our service more attractive. To allow us to do this, Microsoft’s UET tag (universal event tracking tag) is integrated into our online offer. This JavaScript code enables Microsoft to collect pseudonymised data about your visit and use of our online offer via cookies (e.g. the browser session and the website displayed) and, on this basis, provide us with aggregated, non-personal statistics (e.g. how many visitors have reached a specific landing page). This allows us to understand the actions that took place after an ad was viewed on Bing or Yahoo or after clicking on it.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

– Bing Ads Remarketing

We also use the “Bing Ads Remarketing” application. This application enables us to show you our advertisements during your further use of the Internet after visiting our website. In this way, we want to show you advertisements that are of interest to you and help you meet your challenges. This takes place via a cookie saved in your browser (see above), through which your usage behaviour is recorded and evaluated. No personal information is disclosed to us about individual website visitors and website customer target groups can only be targeted by us in ads if the customer target group has reached a critical size. Within this, it is impossible for us to determine individual identities of visitors.

You can disable tracking in several ways. In this way, you can prevent the saving of cookies in your browser settings, whereby our online offer may unfortunately only function to a limited extent for you. In addition, you can prevent data collection by Microsoft on this online offer by you clicking here: Disable Bing Ads Conversion Tracking and Remarketing. An opt-out cookie will be saved that prevents the future collection of your data when visiting our online offer. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, this opt-out cookie will also be deleted; therefore, if you still wish to object in this case, you will have to save the cookie again via the button above. The opt-out cookie is saved per top-level domain, per browser and per device and prevents data collection only for this online offer. In addition, you can disable interest-based advertisements from providers that are part of the self-regulation campaigns “YourAdChoices” (optout.aboutads.info) or e.g. the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies. You can also disable interest-based ads at advertise.bingads.microsoft.com/en-us/resources/policies/personalized-ads.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
